About Mr. Morris

Hello! My name is Mr. Austin Morris. I am the Media Specialist at Jeff Davis Middle School. I am a native of Montgomery County and graduated from Montgomery County High School. I got my Associate's from Brewton-Parker College then moved to Georgia College and State University where I received my Bachelor's in English and History and my Master's in Secondary Education and Media Specialist.

I taught 9th, 10th, and 12th Grade Literature at Wheeler County High School for two years and 9th-12th Grade Literature at Robert Toombs Christian Academy for three years. I am also currently a Career Specialist for Coastal Plains Education High School in Vidalia, GA.

In my free time, I love to travel, read, attend church events, and work on writing a book. I am also on the Board of Directors for Franklinia Playhouse in Vidalia, Ga and enjoy being in plays with them.

As a Media Specialist, my goal is to facilitate learning in and out of the classroom while trying to inspire a love of reading and a curiosity for learning.
