At Jeff Davis Middle School, our counselors support our students throughout their middle school years by promoting and addressing academic, social and emotional development as well as career development. Counseling services include:
  • Providing individual and group counseling;
  • Facilitating conflict resolution and mediation;
  • Offering referrals to resources for students and families within and outside of our school district (Social Worker and Mental Health Resources);
  • Coordination of provision of Second Step Social Emotional classroom lessons;
  • If you need a counselor for any reason, feel free to email us or send a request using the counselor request icon on your student launchpad.
  • Assisting students with organizational and study skills;
  • Consulting with staff, parents and resource organizations;
  • Ensuring student compliance for our district attendance protocol;
  • Developing and maintaining 504 plans;
  • Assisting students with career exploration through career interest and aptitude applications;
