Coach Oliver
Welcome to my page! I run our middle school boys strength and conditioning program here at Jeff Davis Middle. My goal is to positively effect every student athlete that comes through the door of our middle school weight room. I'm of the belief that an appropriate strength and conditioning program is a great avenue to building a student's confidence in themselves and their abilities.
I graduated high school at Wheeler County in 2014 then began my college education at East Georgia Junior College, where I played baseball for two years before transferring to Valdosta State University. I finished my bachelor's degree at Valdosta State University in 2019 in Middle Grades Education. I coach varsity football at our high school in the fall, as well as middle school golf in the spring. During my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife Elizabeth, also know as Mrs. Coach Oliver, and our son Clay. If you can't find me in our middle school weight room, or on one of our practice fields, go search the nearest golf course or beach and I'll be there.
I have a passion for developing our student-athletes and providing them with the resources to be successful. There is nothing more rewarding to me than watching a young student grow in our strength and conditioning program from year to year. Our administration has made a commitment to providing the best possible resources for our students to grow in the classroom, as well as in the weight room. There isn't a middle school weight room more equipped to help our students accomplish whatever it is that they strive to, than the one we have here at Jeff Davis Middle. I'm proud of what we have accomplished here at Jeff Davis, and push every day to help our students accomplish more. I love Jeff Davis. I love what I do. I love our kids like they are my own. There isn't another place I'd rather be than where I'm at, and I'm pumped to continue pushing our kids to be the best version of themselves that they can possibly be.
