Mrs. Yarbrough - Computer Science
Welcome!! I am Lisa Yarbrough and I teach Computer Science at JDMS. I am married to Ryan and we have one son, Colby. He is in 9th Grade at the High School and plays Soccer. I obtained my B.S. degree in Middle Grades Education from Brewton Parker College, a M.S. degree in Information Technology from NOVA Southeastern, and an Ed.S. degree in Educational Technology from NOVA Southeastern. I am currently obtaining my Computer Science endorsement.
I taught 7th Grade ELA here at JDMS for 17 years before moving to Connections. This is a brand new adventure for me and the students as well. I am excited about our students having the opportunity to learn something new and different during Connections. In our class students will learn how to code, build apps, design a web page, and learn how a computer works.
Please feel free to contact me by phone (912)-375-6750 or through email ([email protected]).
