I am the Visual Arts teacher at Jeff Davis Middle School.  I attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where I received my Bachelor’s of Arts in Interior Architecture and a minor in studio art.

I moved to Clearwater, Florida after I graduated from college where I met my husband, Jeff. We moved to Hazlehurst in 2008 soon after our daughter Shelby turned three. She is now a senior at Jeff Davis this year and is on the golf team. My husband owns a blueberry farm with his family. We are members at First Baptist Church in Hazlehurst where Jeff plays the drums and Shelby and I sing on the praise team.

Teaching art at the middle school has been a joy for me. I enjoy watching the students get in touch with their creative minds and discover their artistic skills and talents.
