About Me
Bio here
Welcome to my About Me Page! I am Elaine Douglas and I teach Special Education. This is my 8th year teaching, and my 4th year at JDMS. I am an Inclusion teacher for 6th grade and 8th grade ELA. I received my Associates in Early Childhood Education from South Georgia College, my Bachelors in Special Education from UGA, and Masters in Special Education from Georgia Southwestern University.
I am married to Jimmy Douglas and between us we have 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and a great niece that we absolutely adore. I love to read, travel, fish, hunt, camp, whitewater raft and hike. I love the beach and the mountains and I do my best to visit both as often as possible. I also love photography and take my camera out as often as I can to capture all kinds of cool things in nature.
Feel free to email me if I can assist you in any way. I will respond as quickly as I can.
