Mrs. Kirkland- 7th grade Social Studies

My name is Sonya Kirkland, and I am currently teaching 7th grade Social Studies here at Jeff Davis Middle School.  This is my 26th year teaching.  I have been married to my husband Glynn Kirkland for 29 years and we have three sons, Kristian, Kristopher, and Karson. We also have a daughter-in-law, Halei and a granddaughter, Kenni-Claire. 

I am looking forward to getting to know your child this year as we study about the nations of Africa, Southwest Asia (Middle East), Southern and Eastern Asia.
