About Me

Hey, my name is Stephanie Wilkes. I currently teach 6th Grade ELA. This year will be my 10th year teaching 6th Grade ELA, but will be my 17th year total. I love teaching English because I, myself, love to read and I want to watch my students grow to love reading also.

 

I have a bachelor's degree from Georgia Southern and a master's degree from Western Governors University. My husband is Clay Wilkes. He also graduated from Georgia Southern. He is currently the Director of Quality Assurance and Process Improvement for CoreCivic. We have twins, Noah and Kalli. Noah is a supervisor for South Eastern Freight, and Kalli is a nursing student at South Georgia College.

 

We are a Universal Studios and Disney loving family. We try to go once a month or every other month. They are our true happy places. Just take a step in my classroom and you'll see!
